Our Story
Ignis Global Recruitment was founded in 2017 with a simple observation: the fire protection engineering industry was growing rapidly, but the recruitment firms serving it were generalists who did not understand the technical nuances of the work.
Hiring managers were receiving stacks of irrelevant resumes. Candidates were being pitched roles that did not match their expertise. The disconnect was costing firms time, money, and good people.
We set out to build a recruitment firm that operates differently. One that speaks the language of fire engineering. One that knows the difference between a code consultant and a sprinkler designer, between a NICET IV and a PE, between performance-based design and prescriptive compliance.
Today, we work with over 150 fire protection and life safety firms across 32 countries. Our network includes more than 400 pre-screened professionals, from graduate engineers to practice directors. We have placed candidates in roles ranging from fire alarm designers to regional vice presidents.
